The team that arrived were strong ( I have some very large heavy furniture) and able to determine the best angles and methods to move the furniture without damaging it or the walls or doors. I’ve had some horrible experiences moving this same furniture in the past that required cutting holes in the walls or movers that broke the doors or punched holes in the wall trying to move it. . Absolutely fantastic for long distance moves. I used them to move from North Carolina to California. I did all my own packing, then did all the heavy lifting and transporting. Nothing got broken, it all arrived in great condition. The crew was clean and worked extremely fast while also being very careful with my belongings. Their prices were extremely competitive, especially for the level of service. They even transported both of my cars in the same truck as all my stuff, which was fantastic. Delivery was exactly as scheduled. Literally, the driver said he would be to my house at 8 am for pickup and delivery. He showed up at 8:03 for pickup and 7:59 for delivery. You just can't get better than that. John's used ts Van lines for the actual transportation of my belongings. They were equally as great. I would happily use either company again and would recommend them to anyone planning a move. Moves are incredibly stressful and John's did everything they could to make it a pleasant experience for me.

Eric and his crew from John's Moving moved us on Monday, May 13, 2019, and they did an amazing job. There was intermittent rain that day and our furniture was wrapped in plastic to avoid water penetration. Furniture was also heavily padded to ensure against possible damage from nicks and scratches. The second story of our former house is accessed by a staircase with a landing and a turn half way up.
